  • Inadequate calcium intake or poor calcium absorption.

  • Sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity.

  • Long-term use of chemotherapy medications.

  • Hormonal imbalances or conditions like hyperthyroidism.

  • Genetic or hereditary factors.

  • Excessive alcohol consumption and smoking.

  • Family history of bone-related disorders.

  • Natural and Home Remedies for Osteoporosis

    Boost bone strength and support overall bone health with these Ayurvedic and natural remedies:

  • Drink smoothies made from apple, almond, sesame, jaggery, coconut milk, poppy seeds, and seasonal ripe fruits.

  • Take Asthishrinkhala (Cissus quadrangularis) powder with warm milk to promote bone healing.

  • Include herbs like Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Bala (Sida cordifolia), and Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) with warm milk based on your health needs.

  • Add cow ghee, bananas, ragi, and cow's milk to your daily diet.

  • Soak coriander seeds overnight and consume the water in the morning.

  • Use roasted fenugreek seed powder twice daily to relieve pain and inflammation.

  • Massage the body with sesame oil to reduce inflammation and support joint health.
