What is Insomnia?

Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep during the night. It may involve disrupted sleep or getting less than 2-3 hours of rest, which also requires attention and treatment.

  • Anxiety or excessive stress.

  • Unfinished tasks or worries occupy the mind.

  • Digestive or gastrointestinal issues.

  • Hormonal imbalances.

  • Consumption of caffeine, alcohol, or certain drugs.

  • Physical discomfort such as body aches, arthritis, or localized pain.

  • Mix one teaspoon of honey in a glass of celery juice and drink it before bedtime.

  • Combine powdered roasted cumin seeds with ripe banana pulp and eat it at night.

  • Boil lettuce seeds in water and drink the infusion.

  • Massage the scalp nightly with a mixture of equal parts sesame oil and bottle gourd juice.
