Remove seeds from 2-3 fruits, grind into a paste, extract the juice, and mix two tablespoons with a cup of water. Drink every morning on an empty stomach.
Chew 2-3 fresh leaves each morning on an empty stomach.
Chew 10 fresh Neem leaves daily in the morning.
Mix 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (dalchini) in warm water and drink daily, or swallow a pinch with warm water.
Drink half a glass of its juice on an empty stomach. To prepare, deseed 2-3 gourds, juice them, and dilute with water. Continue for at least two months. Also, include karela in your diet.
Soak 2 tablespoons overnight and drink the water in the morning. Alternatively, consume 2 tablespoons of powdered fenugreek with milk daily.
Dry and powder Indian blackberry (jamun) seeds. Take this powder with water twice a day.
Soak 10–15 tender Mango leaves overnight in a glass of water. Strain and drink the water on an empty stomach in the morning.
Incorporate turmeric (haldi) into daily meals.
A mix of turmeric powder and amla powder with hot water on an empty stomach can also be beneficial.
Diet and Lifestyle Guidelines for Managing Diabetes
If experiencing continuous weight loss, consume nutrient-rich foods, add cow ghee to meals, and avoid sugary items.
Use natural sugar alternatives such as honey, and eat fruits like amla, pomegranate, and lime.
Avoid heavy foods such as curd, jaggery, sugar, red meat, dairy products, sugarcane, and baked goods.
Engage in regular physical activity like walking, jogging, or any form of exercise.
Eat smaller, more frequent meals rather than large portions at once.
Include roasted chickpeas, chickpea flour, and ragi in your diet.
Manage stress through calming practices such as meditation or mindfulness, as stress can negatively impact blood sugar levels.
