Engaging in light exercises, such as a 10-minute walk every 1–2 hours, and practicing pranayama (as per trimester) can be beneficial.
Include more raw and unprocessed foods in your diet instead of refined flour or baked items to improve bowel movements.
Excess fibre may cause cramps, so it's best to consume it in moderation.
Specific yoga asanas recommended by a prenatal yoga expert can help relieve constipation.
Aromatherapy with stress-relieving oils, such as sweet orange oil, may improve digestion and ease constipation.

Home Remedies for Constipation During Pregnancy
Consume 4 tablespoons of healthy monounsaturated fats like avocado, olive oil, nuts, and nut oils.
Add ground flaxseeds to your meals.
Start your day with a glass of warm water and lemon.
Take one tablespoon of coconut or olive oil before each meal.
Mix a tablespoon of psyllium husk (Isabgol) in warm water or herbal tea before bedtime.
Include a tablespoon of molasses (Chashni or Gud ras) and raw honey in your daily diet.
Eating raw bananas may help ease constipation.
Mangoes can be helpful in moderation, but excessive intake might cause diarrhea.
Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), whether consumed as food or supplement, may also provide relief.
